Bizarre Toucan Gong

How to describe this rare Toucan! I think it might be modelled on the Guinness Toucan (not that it could balance a pint on its beak), perhaps even bar equipment "Time Gentlemen, please!" It has a pretty loud ring, I can tell you.
The body is made from what looks like bamboo stump, while the beak is some sort of resin, all mounted on an African hardwood base with a bronze gong and suede covered knocker that sits in the brass cradle.
Unusual and rare, I’ve never seen another one!
